Today my little sister got sent home from school and almost suspended for being involved in a class project where a male student was to perform part of a skit in a dress. Apparently, the cross-dressing element of the project made it "cheap."

This is the same school that willfully turned a blind eye to numerous instances of homo and hetero sexual harassment perpetrated by the NSA students (hockey kids) towards fellow students, and even a teacher, during my attendance of the school. Once an NSA student yelled fag at my openly gay drama teacher, and was barely reprimanded.  Another time a friend was tackled in the hall and had a hockey students tongue in his ear. Rumours of lipstick parties, "show time", games involving mutual masturbation onto food which is then eaten by one of the participants were all rampant.

Of course, the actual gay community at this high school doesn't attract the funding the NSA program does. The NSA is also home to the wealthier and more affluent families of an other wise lower and middle class high school.

So, Calgary, whats wrong with drag? Doesn't make enough money for you? Not red neck enough?
